The Hoops for a Cure Basketbell event to benefit the PMP Research Foundation has been rescheduled to March 5th!
Late registration will be available March 5th from 12 - 2 PM for 3 Point Shooters at Talbert. If you register after 3/1, you will not be guaranteed a participation shirt. 
 

Rules:

  • Do not have to make a bucket to take advantage of the bonus points for fundraising but Contestants do have to attempt all 3 point shots.
  • Contestants must keep both feet behind the 3 point arch to attempt a valid 3 point shot.
  • Players may not be sponsored by any business or entity directly, however the business or entity may request to be a sponsor for the event. Please see our sponsors page for more information.
  • Fundraising is not a requirement for the competition but is highly requested. Donations can be received until 12 midnight the day of the even to count for the event totals.
  • Contestants will have 90 seconds to attempt to make as many 3 point shots as they are able 
  • Registration fee of $20 is required at sign up. Register by Feb 26th to guarantee your participation shirt! 
  • As this is an all-ages event, the 3 point line will not be moved for younger participants.
  • Referee or an Event Official has final say in basket count. 
  • Prize for first place!

Round 1  

A Maximum of 10 participants with highest scores moves on to round 2 Raise money and earn additional points to your overall score!

  • Raise $250 –  2 shot lead
  • Raise $500 –  3 shot lead
  • Raise $750 –  5 shout lead
  • Raise $1000 or more – Double all shots made 

2nd Round

Raise money and earn additional points to your overall score!

  • Raise $250 –  2 shot lead
  • Raise $500 –  3 shot lead
  • Raise $750 –  5 shout lead
  • Raise $1000 or more – Double all shots made
